Abstract |
With the advancement of information and communication technologies-Ict in current
society lives, the interests of students by such technologies, in particular for digital games.
Knowing that there is a plethora of this software that address different educational
curriculum content, we investigate in this dissertation, using educational software to
facilitate meaningful learning, leading the student to a better learning of astronomy content
worked on Science discipline. For this purpose choose Solar System Educational Software
Scope-SSS, considers it a software that better simulates the Solar System and covers the
content to be developed in this research. As theoretical support, use meaningful learning
theory of David p. Ausubel and Conceptual maps of Joseph Novak. To guide this work we
use the qualitative approach, and the end method, which began with a literature search on
the use of educational software and their contributions in science education. The field work
was developed in the sixth grade of elementary school, in the State school Francisca Élzika
in the municipality of Falkirk. We started the work with a diagnostic test, which was held
on the 8th June 2016, to check the students ' previous knowledge about the theme worked.
After analysis of the data obtained, we did a didactic sequence based on the principles of
the theory of Ausubel, using the SSS, and the conceptual maps for the record of the
concepts identified. At the end of the didactic sequence, we did a new writing assessment
for comparative analysis between the two tests to assess student learning through the
methodology used in the research.
